You are in control of your account and data. This page explains how to request full deletion of your Story of My Life app account, or how to immediately delete Story of My Life app data from an installed device.
If you are leaving Story of My Life entirely, use the full account deletion request.
Use this option if you want to close your Story of My Life app account, including the sign-in identity used for the app. Send the request from the email address you use to sign in, if possible.
REQUEST ACCOUNT DELETIONIf you still have the app installed, open Profile → Account → Delete account app data. This permanently deletes your Story of My Life app data from the service and clears story data saved by the app on that device.
Important: the in-app option deletes Story of My Life app data, but it does not delete the sign-in identity itself. Use the full account deletion request if you want the entire app account closed.
Use the button above or email su*****@*********om.au with the subject SOML account deletion request. If possible, send it from the same email address you use to sign in.
We may contact you to verify that you control the account before deletion. We will never ask you to send your journal entries, reflections, password or other private Story of My Life content.
Once verified, we will delete the Story of My Life app data associated with the account and close the Story of My Life sign-in identity where applicable. We will confirm when the request has been completed.
• Your Story of My Life app profile and account data.
• Reflections, progress, drafts and other synced Story of My Life records associated with your account.
• The sign-in identity used for your Story of My Life app account, where applicable.
Local device data: data stored on a device cannot always be removed remotely. If you still have the app installed, use the in-app deletion option or uninstall the app after your full deletion request is complete.
Once Story of My Life app data has been deleted, it cannot be recovered. If you want to keep a copy, use the data export option in Profile before deleting your account.
This request applies to your Story of My Life app account. Separate website purchases, order records or correspondence are not part of the app account and may be retained separately where required for legal, accounting, security or support purposes.
Please send your request from the email address associated with your Story of My Life account, if possible.
