Story of My Life Affiliate Program

1. Commission Rates:

The commission rate for Story of My Life Journal Affiliates is 15 per cent (15%) on every sale, net after discounts and taxes, that you refer through our website.

2. Limitations:

• For purchase commissions, you will receive commission for the purchases made by a new customer who is not in an active sales process with us at the time of the affiliate link click.
• Affiliate links may rely on cookies to track referrals. Therefore, if cookies get cleared, this is out of our control, and we may not be able to track these events.
• The cookie window of Story of My Life Journal Affiliate links is 60 days.
• Only affiliate links can be used to track referrals. Incorrect use of affiliate links will cause inability to track referrals.
• Fraudulent or stolen attribution is a non-payable event. If we suspect fraud (for example, if we see that sales are all from the same city or IP address) we may require proof the referrals are valid.

There may be other limitations not mentioned in this policy that result in commission not being paid, and we reserve the right to make that determination in individual cases.

3. Order Cancellation/Returns:

You do not receive additional commission if a customer cancels their order or makes a valid return that results in a refund.

4. Attribution:

In the event a single customer clicks two different affiliate links, the last affiliate gets the credit. We do, however, reserve the right to modify this in certain circumstances. 

5. Promoting Story of My Life Journal

1. Story of My Life Journal Branding

Do:

• The full name of the product is “Story of My Life Journal”. Please ensure you include the word “Journal” in the name.
• You must follow the content guidelines outlined on your Story of My Life Journal Affiliate dashboard and within the brand kit you are provided.

Do Not:

• Use false or misleading statements on the benefits of using Story of My Life Journal, such as ensuring positive outcomes. Personal development is an individual journey and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
• Modify or adjust the Story of My Life Journal branding in any sort of marketing material you might create, including the creation of any visual badges or dual-logo lockups.

2. What to call yourself

Here are some guidelines around what you can and cannot call yourself within the Story of My Life Journal Affiliate program.

Do:

• Say you’re a “Story of My Life Journal Affiliate”.

Do Not:

• Refer to yourself as a Partner or that you’ve “partnered with Story of My Life Journal.” This includes press releases, references in videos, listings on your website, social media content, or in any other marketing material you may be using.

3. Buying Ads

You will not purchase ads that direct to your site(s) or through an affiliate link that could be considered as competing with Story of My Life Journal’s own advertising, including, but not limited to, our branded keywords. If running ads, you need to direct the ad to your own website (and not to storyofmylifejournal.com or a standalone landing page).

6. Additional

Sharing Placements:

• When requested, you’ll share the places you’ve used your affiliate link. This includes, but is not limited to, links, screenshots, and email sends.

Purchasing a Story of My Life Journal yourself:

• One of the benefits of the Affiliate program is we don’t require you to purchase a Story of My Life Journal product. However, if you decide to purchase, please feel free to use your own affiliate link and receive a discount in the way of the commission you will be paid (if all other sale requirements are met).

Recipient financial institutions:

• Payments will only be made to a valid Australia-based financial institution via direct deposit/bank transfer. Failure to provide valid financial details could result in unpaid commission.

You must be legally compliant and in good financial standing, and the payment of commission must not in any way legally compromise us.

Affiliates must disclose in a straightforward way before the affiliate link that you will receive commission if someone clicks through and purchases a Story of My Life Journal.
